Sermorelin Acetate

A synthetic analog of GHRH that stimulates natural growth hormone release — one of the most studied GH secretagogues.

Half-Life

~10–20 minutes

Molecular Weight

3357.9 g/mol

Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino-acid analog of endogenous growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It was FDA-approved for pediatric GH deficiency diagnosis in the 1990s (withdrawn from US market in 2008 for commercial, not safety, reasons). Sermorelin stimulates the pituitary to produce GH in a physiological, pulsatile manner — preserving the body's natural feedback regulation. This makes it mechanistically distinct from and often considered safer than exogenous GH administration. It remains widely used in anti-aging and wellness medicine.
