About Watchtower Peptides

Our Methodology

How We Score Vendors

Watchtower Peptides is an independent research platform built on one operating principle: every score must be derivable from publicly verifiable data. We have no affiliate relationships and accept no compensation from vendors — paid or otherwise. Our independence isn’t a marketing claim. It’s a structural constraint built into how the platform works.

Scoring Criteria

100 Points Total

Four independently weighted categories. Lab Verification carries the most weight — vendors without independent testing cannot exceed 35 points total.

Lab Verification

How independently a vendor's products have been tested. Points scale by tier — from no testing at all up to independently verified results across a meaningful sample size.

40
pts
Tier 0No COA0 pts
Tier 1Internal testing only5 pts
Tier 2Third-party COA15 pts
Tier 3Batch-specific third-party COA25 pts
Tier 4Verified independent (Finnrick)up to 40 pts

Product Quality

Recency-weighted average purity across all independently verified tests. More recent results count more heavily. Vendors with no independently verified test data score 0 — we do not take a vendor's word for it.

25
pts

Transparency

A checklist of verifiable legitimacy signals: published business address, ownership disclosure, named testing lab, contact information, methodology disclosure, batch numbers on COAs, and domain age. FDA warning letters and confirmed fraud flags apply penalties.

25
pts

Pricing & Value

Price per mg benchmarked against the market average across comparable vendors. Vendors priced 15% or more below market earn full points; vendors priced 15% or more above market score zero.

Rating System

Rating Tiers

Score ranges map to five confidence tiers, displayed on every vendor profile.

Elite
85–100

Independently verified testing across multiple products, high purity record, strong transparency, and competitive pricing.

Trusted
70–84

Strong third-party verification and good purity record with above-average transparency.

Acceptable
55–69

Some verified testing and transparency, but gaps in sample size, methodology, or value.

Watchlist
45–54

Limited or unverified testing data. Sourcing from these vendors carries meaningful quality risk.

Avoid
Below 45

No independent verification, material transparency failures, or active FDA warnings or fraud flags.
