Research OnlyModerate Evidence

N-Acetyl Selank (Acetylated Selank)

An acetylated form of Selank with greater enzymatic stability — used for the same anxiolytic and nootropic applications with potentially enhanced potency.

Half-Life

Slightly longer than Selank

Molecular Weight

793.91 g/mol

N-Acetyl Selank is the N-terminally acetylated analog of Selank. Like N-Acetyl Semax vs. Semax, the acetylation improves resistance to N-terminal proteolytic degradation, enhancing bioavailability and potency when administered intranasally. N-Acetyl Selank is reported by users to produce more pronounced anxiolytic effects at lower doses than standard Selank. The pharmacological profile is otherwise the same: GABAergic modulation without benzodiazepine receptor binding, BDNF upregulation, and immunomodulatory effects derived from the Tuftsin parent peptide.
